Establishing structure-property correlations using materials informatics principles

Investigating the applications of machine learning in material science to predict damage behavior with uncertainty quantification. This will majorly focus on reducing material design to product commercialization time

In our work, we are focussing on developing the reduced-order damage prediction models for Dual-Phase steels. The microstructure and hardening sensitive reduced-order model is based on the random forest regression method. To further explore the DP steel microstructures space, a similar microstructure dataset is generated via Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) and further quantification on similarity and physical awareness was evaluated.
